Creative Writing Assignment001Darkness everywhere, nothing but thick black darkness; the kind that you imagine you can actually feel pressing against your eyes as they strain against it, trying to discover some familiar shape, some hint of light. But there was none. I peered for what seemed like ages into the darkness, until I became uncertain my eyes were even open. I couldn't feel them, I couldn't feel anything, other than the sensation I was floating. Perhaps I was in a boat drifting on a gentle sea, and had fallen asleep. Perhaps I was in a hammock of some sort. I couldn't tell. Wherever I was, it was so peaceful, I decided, that I didn't mind the darkness.Creative Writing Assignment001
